Okay, its been waaay too long since I blogged
Wow - March was the last time I touched this blog. no lame excuses - I’ve been remiss. Meantime let’s catch up…
I changed jobs - finally got smart and moved on after 7 years with (a company who will remain nameless). My new job is as a software consultant, and so far I’m really enjoying it. It’s a lot of travel, but I’m home Fri through Sun every week, so not too bad. Apparently I’m pretty good at it too - they are talking about promoting me (smile)
Writing songs again - taking newfound opportunities (read that as LOTS of airport & hotel time by myself) to get back into the songwriting habit. Hopefully I’ll get back to recording and put songs out again soon.
Filmmaking - Almost through preplanning my lego mosaic film (more to come) Not sure how I will ever get the time to shoot the damn thing, if anyone wants to help out and you have any experience with stop motion (or really want to learn), let me know.
Taking up electronics - My recent delving into robotics with Vex and Mindstorms has got me itching to do more work with soldering irons, so I’ve bought a basic stamp kit from parallax and am learning all about it. I’m also looking at the soundgin development board and the Hydra game system as future projects. I’m looking forward to Halloween, I should be able to do some wicked cool stuff.
